Channel heaters are main voltage heating elements. The elements can be connected in STAR or DELTA and operated from 380/415/440V 3 phase supply.

They can be used to heat treat circumferential joints of large vessels using “BULKHEAD” technique or can be used for building temporary furnaces for Heat Treatment at site.

Portable and easy to handle, they have a long on-site working life and are suitable for as variety of applications.

Heatwork Engineers can also supply the main voltage control units for these elements. Control of heat can be by energy regulators or temperature controllers.

Working temperatures upto 800°C are permissible, but higher temperatures can be achieved using Kanthal wire as alternative element material.

Steel connector blocks or twist lock connectors are provided for tail terminations.

Note: Extension leads for tails can be provided and are priced per metre length required.
